Concluding Paragraph
Restate your thesis (do NOT use the same words as the thesis in the first paragraph!)
Generalize, or draw a conclusion about HOW the documents on the whole help prove your thesis. (only 3-4 sentences)
End with a recap of outside information about Jackson’s life and, for a richer conclusion, end with a connection to
something that’s happening or could happen in today’s society.
REMEMBER the R.I.P words, like you, I, and the like. AVOID THEM!!! Most of you did a great job with this, but
some slipped in. Work on this!!
