History of the Modern Western World; Romanticism and the Industrial Revolution to the
present. 3 hours.

Expected Outcomes for Students:
Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:
1.
identify and appreciate the history of the Modern Western World from the building
of European Nation States to the present, including interaction of religious, political,
economic and cultural developments.
