Description: City of Niagara Falls/USA Niagara Development Corporation Description: The
City of Niagara Falls and the USA Niagara Development Corporation (USAN), a subsidiary of
the NYS Urban Development Corporation d/b/a Empire State Development Corporation
(ESDC), pursuant to a Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI), seeks statements of interest
and qualifications from development companies and/or teams with experience in urban mixeduse development projects. The opportunity is for development of a 3.3-acre vacant, city-owned
parcel at the south-west corner of Third and Niagara Streets in the downtown section of the City
of Niagara Falls, New York. Submission of a statement of interest and qualifications is a prerequisite to participating on any future Request for Proposal (RFP) for this project. The RFEI and
accompanying materials can be obtained from the contact set forth below and is also available on
the USAN website at www.usaniagara.com. Subcontracting Provisions: It is the policy of the
State of New York, ESDC, USA Niagara, and City of Niagara Falls to comply with all Federal,
State and local laws, policies, orders, rules and regulations which prohibit unlawful
discrimination of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability or
marital status, and to take affirmative action in working with contracting parties to ensure the
Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises (W/WBE’s), minority group members and
women share in the economic opportunities generated by ESDC’s and/or its subsidiaries
participation in projects or initiatives, and/or the use of their funds. Requirements: Response
should indicate respondent’s capability to undertake all components of a development program.
