The film is about a young woman Evey who is rescued from a life-and-death situation by a masked vigliante known only as V. V is a very skilled person when it comes to combat and deception. He starts a revolution when he blows up two
London landmarks and takes over TV networks, radio etc. urging other citizens to rise up against the government's oppression and tyranny. As Evey discovers the truth about V she also discovers the truth about herself when she is put through a series of tortures behind which she thinks is the government but it is actually V. The movie ends with V dying and Evey helping him complete his dream.
I like this movie because it shows how just one person can cause people to see how the government is oppressing them and also cause such a big problem to the untouchable government. The best part is, unlike other movies, that you never actually find out who V is and his history remains unknown.
