In Animal Farm, the animals make cases using different kind of techniques in order to convince each other of their goals, actions, and ideas. You can find examples of the following types of persuasive language in Animal Farm: Logical (logos)—an orderly and coherent set of reasons that ask you to use your intellect to agree to a certain concept or idea Ethical (ethos)— an argument based on the example of a highly respected member of society, appealing to one's sense of justice or morality. Emotional (pathos)—an argument that appeals to one’s emotional responses such as fear, empathy, compassion, anger, hope, etc. Propaganda can be defined as information that could be biased or misleading that is used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view. Propaganda is spread using various kinds of media (like TV, radio, speeches, posters, pamphlets, art).
