CONTACT DETAILS PREVIOUS WORK CURRENT WORK PLANS FOR FUTURE WORK Address The Wasteless Society originated as a waste management group undertaking simple recycling. It grew to develop green waste collection systems linked to anaerobic digestion and biogas production. This activity waxes and wanes. Aim has been to only deliver things that local authorities were not able or willing to do with a view to moving them to the mainstream. Local authority now has the finest UK example of AD processing households wastes and has taken on plastics recycling etc. Unhappy with the limited impact of recycling we have moved in to energy as an indicator of irresponsible use of resources. 2004 undertook UK first Community Climate Change Strategy based on carbon footprinting. Based on this developed UK’s first 100% biodiesel forecourt sales and now trials (under EST support) an ESCo – energy performance within the domestic sector as the one area NOT being properly tackled by either government or industry. To develop the ESCo from simple energy performance to development of renewable energy in properties.
