Data Architect and Application Consultant. Data Architect responsible for the design and
delivery of all Consolidated Operational Data Store and Data Warehouse objects in a 5TB
Oracle database. Integrated SAP R/3 and SAP Business Warehouse objects with other external
data sources for exposure in a pure Oracle environment so it is available for alternative
reporting options, including Discoverer, WebFOCUS, Cognos PowerPlay, Business Objects,
Crystal Decisions, and SAS. Built many multi-tier (Oracle, Java and PL/SQL) applications to

Halliburton Company, 3/01-4/02. Data Architect and process analysis contract. Gathered
information from all information technology sources and provided a consolidated view of all
company data dependencies. Recommended changes to enterprise IT practices to streamline
data sharing requirements and improve performance. Provided object naming standards, Oracle
development standards, and Web development best practices to assist in IT process
improvement. Designed and developed several data marts, improving company-wide
knowledge management in the Procurement, HR and Tax departments. Built data correction
facilities for common Operational Data Store. Combination of tools used to support this
contract included Oracle Designer, JDeveloper, Oracle Warehouse Builder, Oracle Portal, and
PL/SQL.
Air Liquide America Corp., 4/98-12/00. Oracle Financials extension development and
globalization contract. Upgraded extremely large Oracle Financials custom application from
Apps version 10.6 to 10.7. Technical lead and data architect for Globalization project to
convert American specific Oracle Financials extensions to support international requirements.
Finished product supported multiple languages and multiple currencies (including Euro).
Multiple language architecture developed in the project was eventually adopted by Oracle for
use in version 11i. Created development standards for the organization. Developed a code
handler structure that allowed customization at individual sites with limited change
management controls while maintaining standard functional integrity. Re-generated over 90%
of the product using Oracle Designer, significantly reducing the time to delivery. Ultimately
responsible for quality assurance of the product and all installations and patches. Developed
over 150 utilities to support Applications registration and high quality product installation and
packaging. Data architect and Java developer for Broadvision-based Electronic Commerce
application. This Internet application provides customers direct access to Air Liquide products
and safety information. Built interfaces for Web orders to the Oracle Financials ERP as well as
generic interfaces for several international affiliates that do not have an Oracle ERP.

10.7. Developed utilities specific functionality to Oracle Assets and Oracle Projects.
Introduced Designer/2000 Headstart for Apps to the team, trained developers in the general use
of CASE technology, and specifically for enhancing existing complex systems. Dramatically
demonstrated the benefits of Designer/2000 based development by providing 95-100%
generation of all new AOL compliant Forms modules. Developed PL/SQL modules required to
create enhanced asset construction in Oracle Projects and interface them to Oracle Assets.
Provided Database Administration support and guidance for Applications 10.7 installation and
configuration, as well as packaging and tuning of the extension product.
El Paso Electric, 2/97-3/97. Technology transfer contract. Assisted Oracle Core Technologies
consultant in Applications 10.6 installation. Configured and installed Apps 10SC Prod 16
software. Trained staff in Oracle Networking concepts and software administration with
Oracle’s Intelligent Agent architecture. Provided intensive Oracle operations training to newly
assigned Database Administrators, including User administration and security, Storage

through database design and implementation of an Operational Data Store in an Oracle, HP-UX

Installed, configured, tuned, and operated multiple Oracle database instances on AIX and
WindowsNT platforms. Performed Capacity Planning for new systems. Wrote PL/SQL

maintained five Oracle databases within the Headquarters complex and at the Ministry of
Defense. Supported many functional areas, including Administration, Air Operations,

IBM mainframe environment to support Child and Adult Protective Services, Foster Care,
Adoption, Aging Services, Family Preservation, and Administrative requirements. Developed
R:BASE and dBase applications to support automated Medicaid Claims submission, Social
Security Trust Account administration, and administration of the Interstate Compact for
Placement of Children program. Developed an integrated mainframe/PC application for
performing Random Moment Time studies that gained the agency over $500,000 per year in
previously unrecovered funding by documenting performance of federally supported programs
by field workers. Also performed duties as NetWare LAN Administrator, performing all
network troubleshooting and problem diagnosis. Developed Conceptual Design for new
statewide Case Management system to provide integrated support to all functional areas of the
department, which was later contracted for development.

Managed 13 computer programmers in a DEC VAX/VMS cluster and microcomputer network
environment, performing software systems development (using Oracle, SQL*Forms,
Pro*FORTRAN, and MACRO-11), maintenance, and end-user support. Configured, tuned,
and headed maintenance and operation of the VAX systems and the Oracle database on VMS.
Normalized the database to Third Normal Form as all previous development efforts had been
performed with little understanding of Relational concepts. Designed and implemented one of
the first NetWare Local Area Networks in the Naval Security Group, including DECNET
services to the VAX. Developed a portable PC based digital image capture system for use with
