How Do I do a Works Cited Page?
Well, kids, it is easy. Here’s what you to do for your paper:
Books
List books in alphabetical order by author’s last name. If there is more than one
author, list the first by last name, first name and then all other authors by first
name, last name. Then give publishing company, city of publication and year
published.
Ex: Coleman, Parke and Rich Quinlan I Love Heavy Metal. Random House, New
York, 2005.
Internet
Give my any author’s last name than first name. Title of the article. Website and
date accessed.
Ex: Quinlan, Rich. “Heavy Metal: Nature’s Greatest Gift?”
www.metalheads.com 5/17/06
If there is no author, simply list the website.
General Research
Journal Article, One Author
Harlow, H.F. (1993). Fundamentals for Preparing Psychological Journal

When cited materials in your paper simply do the following.
Author’s Last name and page number.

Place this within a paragraph if you are borrowing an idea or at the end of a quote.
For web sources, simply use the MAIN PORTION of a web address, and give author’s
last name if possible, along with page number of your print out
