Biology of Common and Rare Human Diseases: Call For
Papers
We are entering an era where the discovery of disease genes is conducted at the genome
scale, and where increasing integration of multiple types of ‘big data’ is used to elucidate
variant-phenotype correlations. Additionally, a growing number of studies are identifying
considerable overlap between common and rare human diseases, and further refining our
understanding of their biology and development.
Now, we want to highlight the importance of this field by publishing a special issue with an
emphasis on the biology of common and rare human diseases, which will be guest edited by
Daniel MacArthur and Mark McCarthy. The deadline for submissions is 30th June 2016.
