E-Business Manager Position Summary: This individual will lead integration architecture activities across IT and plants to create state-ofthe-art solutions in the following areas of e-Business solutions: EDI, internet, extranet, application integration, B2B solutions, and messaging middleware (EAI). E-Business Manager will focus on company-wide solutions and participate in enterprise architecture definition, enhancement and support of existing EDI/EAI components and project execution. Develops, analyzes, and recommends architectural alternatives for integration. Must have the ability to look at the bigger picture and be confident making key decisions in a critical business area. Ensures projects are implemented that meet quality standards, business/technical requirements, budgets, and deadlines. Reports To: IT Director Responsibilities Manage the design, architecture and implementation of e-Business solutions (EDI, EAI, Internet and Extranet). Provide recommendations on technical architecture design - including broker, integration and interface requirements. Manage the production of functional and technical specifications for technical development using both text and diagrammatical representations. (UML, Use Cases, SAP XI design tools and high quality technical specifications covering complex data mapping, and business process mapping.) Create overall eServices technology strategy, standards and policies. Mentors junior level technical staff. Participates in identifying metrics for measuring system performance and utilization Required Qualifications Excellent analytical, problem solving, project management, interpersonal, and communication (written and oral). Experience in leading projects and successfully managing teams. Experience implementing integration architecture within an SAP environment. SAP is required for design, implementation and support of e-Applications and SAP e-Business initiatives. Experience in designing, developing, and implementing EAI and EDI solutions. Prior hands-on experience with one of the following: webMethods, Tibco, or IBM MQ Series, SeeBeyond (any EAI tool that integrates with SAP considered). Knowledge of EDI and XML standards. Solid knowledge of internet-enabled technologies. Education/Years of Experience/Other Minimum of 7 - 10 years relevant IT experience Minimum of 3 years experience managing e-Business applications preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent work experience is required. Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or work towards certification (training classes, etc.) Experience with Software Engineering Institute’s (SEI) Capability Maturity Model (CMM®) and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMISM)
