Week of: September 8, 2014
Purpose: This week students will review the writing process and the PEPSI (Point-Explain-Proof-Signal Word-In Other Words)
organization for paragraphs and begin to work on a 5 paragraph informative essay.
Common Core Standards: RI.8.5; RI.8.6; W.8.2; W.8.2a-f; W.8.8; W.8.10
