Morning Announcement – Class discussion on Respect.
Each student completes a panther pride paw. Teachers collect and return to Guidance by 12 noon on Monday.
Essay contest – 100 word essay “What does the word respect mean to me?” for grades or 3-7
Poster contest- illustrating “What the word respect means to me?” for k-2
Due Thursday, October 10th by the end of the school day in the Guidance office.

Wear Orange for Unity day
Thursday – October 10, 2013
Bullying Pledge- Signed my all students and staff against Bullying.
Talk about “RESPECT RAP” video from Assembly and discuss how you can show respect in your community
Friday – October 11, 2013
Morning Announcement- Essay/ poster contest winners announced.
Recognition luncheon provided at 1pm
Activities
To be done during DEAR - Due by Thursday, October 10th
1. Have students write a word for each letter in the word
respect that means almost the same thing.
2. Find/draw at least five pictures of people showing
respect to others, can make a collage.
3. Create a recipe for Respect. What ingredients do you
need?
