OOTY - INDIA (1)
Ooty or Udagamandalam (the Tamil version of the original
name) rightly described as "Queen of Hill Stations" by
Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, now sprawls over an area of 36 sq
km with a number of tall buildings cluttering its hill
slopes. It is situated at an altitude of 2,240 meters above
sea level. Ooty still woos people from all over India as
well as foreign countries right through summer, and
sometimes in the winter months too.
An added attraction for the tourists to Udagamandalam is
the mountain train journey on a ratchet and pinion track
which commences from Kallar, near Mettupalayam and wends
its way through many hair-raising curves and fearful
tunnels and chugs along beside deep ravines full of verdant
vegetation, gurgling streams and tea gardens.
The scenery, as it unfolds during the trip, is reathtaking,
awe-inspiring and fantastic. One can notice a marvellous
change in vegetation, as one goes from Kallar to Coonoor.
At Kallar it is tropical and at Burliar-the next bus-stop
as one proceeds from Mettupalayam-it is sub-tropical. Near
Coonoor, it is humid with pines, blue gum Eucalyptus
globulus) and cypress trees. As we go from Ooty to Gudalur,
the change in vegetation is striking. What a splendid
interaction between climate and vegetation ! It is
therefore very appropriate that Mount Stuart called the
whole road leading to Ooty from Mettupalayam, "One long
botanical debauch."
This beautiful botanical paradise was first brought to the
public eye by John Sullivan, Collector of Coimbatore
district in 1819.The Coonoor-Mettupalayam road was extended
to Udagamandalam, covering a distance of about
15km. The
Kotagiri-Mettupalayam road (about 34 km long) which was 8
ft wide to begin with, was widened to 17 ft in 1872-75 with
a gradient of one in 17 by the Dist. Engineer, Major Morant
R.E. and handed over to the District Board in 1881. During
the period from 1819 to 1830, John Sullivan's contribution
was, apart from laying the route to Ooty, that he built the
first house called Stone House in this place. This formed
the nucleus of Government offices. Further, at his own
expense, he conducted experiments on agricultural and
horticultural crops and in animal husbandry to find the
most suitable crops and breeds of milch animals for future
settlers. In this very quiet hill station there are many
Ghost stories roam around about a girl standing in white
dress asking for lift. If you go through she will run as
fast as the car runs and people reported her sitting there.
If you walk towards the woods near the hill at night then
you will hear noises that will tell you go home don't go
forward and all scary things happen. Dogs will even start
chasing you sometimes but they say that the dogs run
because they are trying to get away from that place as
well. This all happens because Hindus burn their bodies
after they die over there and the ghosts in there body stay
in the air.
The forests have an uncanny feeling. It's damp, cold and
sometimes dark. People up here tend to be depressed and
countless murders have taken place. On the stretch between
Dow-Hill road and the Forest Office, wood cutters returning
in the evenings have sited a young boy walking head-less
for several yards and then walk away from the road into the
woods. Other than this, footsteps are heard in the
corridors of the Victoria Boys School when the school is
closed for long holidays from December to March
TRAIN (2)
This tiny blue and cream train, chugging up the Nilgiri
hills, hauled till recently by an antique, Swiss-made steam
locomotive, is as pictorial as it was nearly a century ago.
We understand, that, this too has been changed to diesel
traction.
The first class compartment is totally booked by a movie
shooting crew but a spirit of bonhomie prevails and
everyone in the cramped compartment is accommodated. Rodney
Mike and Elsa is seated side by side by the window and Elsa
is picturing the sceneries in her digital video camera. The
advantage of being in the first class is that you have a
clear frontal view of the track ahead, because the train is
pushed by the locomotive and not pulled. Each coach has a
projecting balcony from where the brakeman operates special
hand brakes, in addition to the vacuum brakes operated by
the engine driver. The two communicate with each other by
an ingenious code system of whistles and flags.
Up to Kallar, the track is straight and without much
gradient. Beyond Kallar, the famous rack rail system of the
Nilgiri Railway begins. It consists of "two toothed steel
bars laid in a double row above the running rails so that
the tooth of one rail is directly opposite to the gap in
the other. This ensures that the engine pinions do not
work-off the racks when negotiating curves.
BACK ENGINE (3)
The conductor, dressed in a blue coat and white turban, was
calling "All aboard!" and the steam engine let out a mighty
whoosh. There was a flurry of doors opening and people
scrambling onto the cog train. The engine moves very slowly
pushing the train up. In the 19-odd kilometer distance
between Kallar and Conoor, the train climbs 4,363 ft. and
the line crosses lofty viaducts and passes through nine
tunnels, the longest being 31 ft. in length. As the train
climbs along the sharp escarpment, the cool mountain air
and panoramic scenery have an almost hypnotic effect. The
'clang' of the rails becomes a rhythmic rhapsody and the
deep forests cast playful dapples of light and shadow.
From the bright sun-bathed slopes, you enter dark tunnels
where the sound of the train reverberates with a loud echo.
The mountain curves are so sharp in a few areas that the
tiny train often appears to be chasing its own tail!
Once again, the point of view of the inspiring Marvelous
change in vegetation, as one goes from Kallar to Coonoor.

"When we'll reach top ?"
Still camera in her hands trying to capture everything
possible. She is unable to take off her eyes off from the
beauty of the lush green plants, trees and flowers and
railway station and the crowded train. She is dressed in
sarees a typical South Indian attire with threaded jasmine
flowers on her head where the smell of jasmine nearly
filled the first class cabin. And Mike too is dressed in
Dhothis a bridegroom's wear in Indian culture.

"I don't know.”
“It's my first trip
to this place in India.
“And you're an Indian.”
“You may know better."
"What kind of a train is this ?
"It's so small almost like a miniature
train.”
“And look!"
Mike pointed. "The engine's on backward.!"
(Elsa)
"This is a cog train."
"The only way to get up the
steep hills to Ootacamund.
The engine is placed at the
back of the train so it can
push the cars up the hills."

"Any grip ?"
Mike squinted as he focused on the shiny tracks
(Elsa)
"A wheel beneath the engine
grabs those cogs and helps
pull the train. Row of spikes
run like a third rail between them."
"Now come on Mike,
It's our honeymoon trip.”
“Make love Honey."
She winked her eyes. Mike turned towards her and gently
kissed her forehead. Elsa smiled back. Laughter and girlish
shouts caught Mike's attention. A flock of young Indian
girls dressed in brightly colored long skirts were climbing
into the third class car, along with a woman dressed in a
pale blue sari.
Mike leaned an arm out the open window as the train jerked
and made it’s way slowly out of the station. The Nilgiri
hills rolled brown and dry on every side.
It is always greener and cooler at Ooty as Ootacamund is
usually called a resort town or a "hill station" nestled in
the foothills of the Western Ghats.
As Mike leaned on the window ledge, a movement toward the
back of the train caught his eye. He leaned farther out.
(Elsa)
“Don't lean forward Mike.”
“You could get hurt when
the train moves.”
“Come honey.”
“Don't act as a child."
(Rodney Mike)
"I can't believe it.!"
"There are people on the
roof of the train.!"
(Elsa)
"It's a common sight
in any part of India."
"When you travel by train,
those who are very poor
can't afford to buy tickets,
take their chances of traveling
on roof top of trains and
sometimes, some of them may
slip and fall and many
lives lost, which goes
unnoticed too."
Just then the cog train pitched, as it rounded a curve,
shaking the railroad cars severely, Mike glanced up just in
time to see a poorly dressed Indian man slip and fall from
the top of the train, landing soundlessly in the brush and
rocks beside the tracks.

"Stop.!"
Mike yelled,
(Elsa)
"What happened ?"
(Rodney Mike)
"A man just fell from
the top of the train.!"
(Elsa)
"what ?”,
“What You’re saying ?"
Fear in Elsa's eyes. She hurriedly placed her camera on her
seat and moved towards Mike.
(Rodney Mike)
"Elsa, How do
we stop the train ?"
Cried Mike.
(Rodney Mike)
"He fell head first."
Mike jumped up and pulled on the emergency brake chain.
Nothing seemed to happen at first.
(Elsa)
"Mike.!"
Elsa...yelled,
Mike pulled on the chain with his wife Elsa. A few moments
later the cog train groaned and stopped. The steam engine
belching smoke in protest. The Indian conductor came
running to their car, obviously upset with Mike.
(Conductor)
"You stop the train
?
“What's the matter, Sahib ?"
(Rodney Mike)
"A man fell off.!"
Mike pointed.
(Rodney Mike)
"Back there!
“I saw him!
The conductor turned and hurried back along the track.
Other doors were opening in the other cars and people
peered out. Mike scrambled after the conductor leaving Elsa
in the compartment.
The train had gone several lengths beyond where the man had
fallen. He was motionless and appeared to be unconscious.
Dirty rags barely covered his gaunt body; He had no hat or
turban. The conductor pushed aside the noisy crowd that was
gathering and looked the man over closely; then he began
waving and shouting at the other passengers in an
unfamiliar language. It was obvious to Mike that he was
telling everyone to get back on the train.
(Rodney Mike)
"What's it, Conductor
?"
(Conductor)
"Nothing, nothing."
"We can do nothing.
He is pariah, untouchable."
(Rodney Mike)
"What do you mean ?"
"We can't just leave an
injured man lying beside
the railroad tracks."
(Conductor)
"Sir, you don't understand."
"The Indian caste system is very complex we mustn't
interfere with their beliefs Hindu religion, you know."
(Rodney Mike)
"I don't know !"
“But I do know that
as a Christian and
an American man, we must."
In the mean time Elsa rushed in there.
(Elsa)
"What's happening ?'
(Rodney Mike)
"There's an injured man
lying unconscious and
everybody refuse to
touch him too."
(Elsa)
"Why ?"
(Rodney Mike)
"I don't understand.”
“Some racial problem, hell."
To Mike's astonishment, Elsa walked right past the
conductor and bent down beside the injured man. Her hands
felt over his body gently.
(Elsa)
"Nothing
broken."
"But he has hit his head.”
“We must get him
into the train."
Elsa...Protested to the conductor
(Conductor)
"It's not done
like this before.!"
Elsa ignored him.
(Elsa)
"Mike, Give a hand.”
“We'll put
him in train."
Mike wasn't sure what was going on, but he liked the Elsa's
gutsy attitude.
(Rodney Mike)
"yes, ma'am.!"
He grinned, conductor assisted Elsa and Mike reluctantly
and with other few co-passengers they picked up the injured
man and carefully placed him inside the third-class car.
Mike tried to ignore the smell of the dirty body.
A loud cheer went up from the freeloaders on the roof of
the train, and Mike and Elsa waved to them in response.
First class compartment (4)
Once back in their first-class compartment everybody
appreciated Mike and Elsa. They were very curious to know
how an Indian girl married a foreigner and Elsa and Mike
narrated their love stories to them and got familiar with
the co-passengers. What shocked Elsa among the conversation
was about the man who fell from top of the train is not due
to the jerk of the train when it started moving, but
b'cause of a headless man who walked from the other side of
the track which he noticed. The man who was sitting on top
of the train had noticed a headless man walking on the
opposite side of the station was puzzled and in fear, he
lost balance and slipped from top of the train.
A whistle blew. The brown grasses had given way to rich
green trees and brush on the hillsides.
Then the first red-tiled roofs of Ooty station disappeared.

"Some Ghost.”
“About some
Ghost stories."
(Rodney Mike)
"I don't believe it.”
“Rubbish."
(Elsa)
"But I don't know.”
“Am scared."
(Rodney Mike)
"You're scared.”
“Ha Ha Ha."
"I can't believe it.”
“You're such a
courageous woman.”
“I just saw your courage while
dealing with the injured man."
(Elsa)
"But Ghosts are not humans.”
“They're Paranormal.”
“That's why am scared.”
“I hate even to
read Ghost stories."

"Forget it honey.”
“Relax.”
“It's a beautiful
place, Isn't ?"
(Elsa)
"Mike ‘am tired."
(Rodney Mike)
"Wanna sleep honey ?"
(Elsa)
"Yea, Just a
little darling."
(Rodney Mike)
"No probs.”
“you're my
dream girl.”
“Just put your head on
my lap and have a quick nap."

"Thanks darling.”
“you're so sweet.”
“ ’am really

“I love you darling.”
“But promise me you'll
never talk about these
Ghosts.”
“I hate."

"Noooo, never.”
“I want you

“Nothing more.”

“Just relax, OK ?"

"you're my sweet."
She stretched her legs and arms and lay her head on Mike's
lap and closed her eyes. Mike pulled his sweater off and
covered her. He gently kissed her cheeks. After some time
Mike too felt sleepy b'cause of tiredness and he took a
small nap placing his head on the window panels. When they
reached on top of the hill it was very chill and windy.
Their rooms were booked in advance
British type colonial bungalows. Bay
gardens. In the fruit basket of the
apricots, plums, peaches, pears and
at Ramghar bungalow a
windows, verandahs and
Kumaon: dripping with
apples in season from
summer to autumn Tingling fireplaces in winter. Snow flakes
around the New Year. Birdlife and butterflies. Walks to
reconnect your legs to your planet. Take all the oxygen
back in your lungs. return when it runs out again. Their
bedroom were decorated in typical honey moon style with
flowers on cot and entire environment. After lunch Mike and
Elsa set out for sight seeing to Botanical Garden, the Ooty
lake and Museum in a car arranged by their travel agency.
TOP OF THE HILL (5)
There were lot of pin bends in stretch of highway curves
all along the route of Ooty 18. mountain. There were
parallel roads splits off into two making way for incoming
vehicles. But what appeared to be is surprising b'cause lot
of vehicles like trucks, car and other vehicles from behind
view, moving away, it disappears in the distance without
any trace from where it came and where it goes.Inside THE CAR, three people can be seen. Mike, Elsa and
Driver Kumar. Mike and Elsa are newly wedded couples and
Kumar is Tourist car driver hired by Mike for sight seeing
in Ooty. Now Mike is in his casuals with his belmond Jeans
and T-shirts and Elsa was in Salwar kameez. The driver was
listening to old Tamil romantic songs (South Indian Music)
which Mike couldn't understand.(Humming the Tamil song
played with the music) I love you for ever.

"Mike, where
are we ?"

"I don't know.”
“kumar, Where
are we now ?"
(Kumar)
"Sir, we're on
the way to
botanical garden.”
“In five minutes
we'll be reaching
after crossing
this eucalyptus
farm stretch."
And he went on to explain about the garden and the history
of it. This garden was laid out in 1847 by the Marquis of
Tweedale and is spread over 55 acres. Lush green well
maintained lawns, rare tree species (like the cork tree
which is probably the only such tree in India, the paper
bark tree and the monkey puzzle tree - monkeys cannot climb
this tree), a 20 million year old fossilized tree, an
Italian-style garden bordering a clear pool, a 19. vast
variety of flowering bushes and plants in myriad hues
(exotic and ornamental), fern house with a vast range of
ferns and orchids, are some of the many highlights of this
garden. A flower show along with an exhibition of rare
plant species is held every year in the month of May at
this garden.
The Garden is maintained by the Horticulture Department of
the Government of Tamil Nadu and has a very wide variety of
plants that include different types of roses, imported
shrubs, rare flowering plants etc.

After the flower show and then shopping Mike and Elsa
became tired but Elsa didn't have mind to return early as
she wished to extend her stay there for couple of hours
more but Kumar, the Driver insisted to leave immediately
saying it's really hell to travel once it becomes dark
b'cause of frequent movement of Ghosts on their way.

"The Indians believe

“I don't care.”
“Elsa don't be scared
of these stories.”
“we'll stay as long
you prefer honey."

"It's OK Mike, let's not
chance on it.”
“May be true either.”
“kumar, let's go."
It was around 5pm evening.
The sun has set already. The
chill wind penetrates deep in everybody's body. Mike led
his wife Elsa to the car hugging her gently and Kumar
started the engine.
OOTY – EVE (6)
Once again, the camera takes the point of view of the hill
slopes in the Nilgiri Mountains, you will find that
omnipresent, glossy, stout bush with fragrant white or pink
flowers and a melodious name camellia (Camellia tea). Tea
is amongst India's most prominent plantation crops all
round Ooty, Coonoor and the like, seem to have tea bushes
almost like a second skin.
(Kumar)
"Ma'am, We should have
left early, now see it's
almost dark.”
“Traveling will be
quiet horrible."
Switching on the head lights of the car, In hurry he
started shifting gears and increased the speed of the car
and just then he took a bend he saw a female in bright
white Saree crossing the road and he kept banging the horn
but met with no response as she didn't turn back either to
see the speeding car coming towards her nor did she realize
that she could be hit by the speeding car. When Kumar
nearly jammed the brakes in front of her with just a feet
away from her, the girl turned and looked at him and he saw
her red eyes with no pupil in center frightened him.
(Kumar)
"I told ya'll.”
“It's not a girl.”
“It's a devil.”
“Killer devil."
(Rodney Mike)
"What you're taking
about kumar ?"
(Kumar)
"Look there.!”
“Her eyes, Reddish
with no eye pupil
in center in both eyes.”
“She is a Ghost.”
“A devilish girl."
Fear gripped everybody, Elsa started screaming.
(Elsa)
"Oh Lord, Jesus,
Save us Lord."
Elsa started praying.
(Rodney Mike)
"Kumar reverse the
car quickly.”
“Let's get out of
this place immediately."
(Elsa)
"Quickly, Which
would put us…"
She fumbled
weeping.
for
words.
Fear
in
her
eyes,
she
started
(Rodney Mike)
"kumar, reverse
the car quickly."
Just then Kumar reversed Mike noticed her. She is really a
beautiful girl but got frightened immediately b'cause she
only had red dark and bright eyes and no pupils in center.
(Elsa)
"Oh Lord Jesus,
Save us, Please Lord."
(Rodney Mike)
"Don't panic Elsa.”
“We'll be alright Ok ?"
As the car took speed the female Ghost started coming
towards the car from behind. Seeing it coming from behind
from the side view mirrors. Elsa started screaming.
(Elsa)
"Oh Nooo.”
“It's coming.”
“It's coming.”
“Definitely, it's
going to kill us Mike."
(Rodney Mike)
"Kumar, any
short route ?"
(Kumar)
"Yes sir.”
“There is one route
and it's very short,
just a kilometer away.”
“It's very safe b'cause
on this way there is a
Church called cathedral
church and no Ghost dare
to cross that."
(Rodney Mike)
"Then move fast Kumar."
Kumar shifted gears quickly and headed towards southeast of
Ooty a typical army township passing through lush, tea bush
slopes and attractive British houses. From behind the Ghost
kept following and when Kumar speeded up further where as
the Ghost started the chase running faster than the car and
almost reached the window side, where Elsa is seated.
(Ghost Emily)
"You are Elsa isn't ?"
"Am your friend Emily.”
“We were class mates
and room mates.”
“I died here, my
boy friend pushed
me from the hill top."
"Remember now ?”
“You come with me Elsa.”
“Don't trust these men.”
“They're bastards,
“They're betrayers.”
“They'll kill you."
Though the window glasses were up, Ghost Emily was able to
stretch her hand towards Elsa and Elsa started screaming.
(Elsa)
"No leave me.”
“‘ Am not coming with you.”
“‘ Am scared.”
“Leave me alone please."
Elsa moved further closer to Mike and in turn Mike tried to
push the Ghost off from pulling Elsa.
(Rodney Mike)
"You bloody bitch.”
“Don't touch her.”
“I'll kill you."
(Ghost Emily)
"Kill me ?
“Ha Ha Ha."
Her frightful laugh echoed on the hills which turned
everybody scary and when she tried to drag Elsa out of the
car, kumar took a sharp right bend where the Ghost lost
balance and she was able to be successful only in grabbing
Elsa's top cover of her dress and the car landed in front
of Cathedral church. When they looked back, there was no
Ghosts and they felt a sigh of relief.
(Kumar)
"Sir, we are safe now."
Elsa is still weeping.
(Rodney Mike)
"Good job Kumar."
After ten minutes travel they reached their travel
bungalow, and Mike led Elsa to the hotel and he was trying
to console her but Elsa was in such a state of mind where
everybody looked like Ghosts in this bungalow for her, when
they went to collect their room keys from the reception.
The room boy picked their baggage and helped them to get
accommodated in the room.
Elsa started narrating the experience about the Ghost
during their travel to the room boy and the room boy just
kept mum and had a faint look at her which created more
fear in Elsa's mind.
INT - BALIGARGH BUNGALOW – NIGHT (7)
The BUNGALOW is located near the Park. It's a fine, solid,
impressive 2 story brick building was well constructed in
1990was bought by a famous business man from Bombay who
done some remodeling and turned the place into a plush
Bungalow.
The Bungalow became the center of the town's social
activity, bringing a sense of civility to the community, as
well as providing a place to stay for visiting people who
needed a temporary home. The Bungalow was host to major
social events, and receptions. To accommodate the growing
clientele, a large kitchen, a dining room and living
quarters were added on to the back of the building. The
large, main dining room was filled with tables, which
seated 4 to 6 people, which could be moved and rearranged
for larger parties. Beautiful, finely made white linens and
lovely china were the norm, always used for the customer's
dining experience.
But Mike and Elsa were not aware that this particular
Bungalow is one of the most haunted places in Ooty. It is
said a young girl in her teens, Vimala drowned in the
dredge pond along Grasshopper creek 12 Feb 2001. She first
appeared to her best friend, who was with her on that
fateful day when they decided to go swimming, and witnessed
the drowning of Vimala. Today, Vimala is seen mostly by
children, wearing a blue dress, and has tried to talk to
them. She has also been seen looking out one of the 2nd
story windows, in one of the guest rooms or perhaps the
large front Room with the balcony, which overlooks the
street. She was the daughter of the hotel manager at the
time, and probably had access to this large suite. One
older woman also haunts the second floor as well. She has
been seen looking out a 2nd floor windows by visitors.
Sounds of crying children have been heard.
These could be impressions, perhaps left over from the days
when this building was used as a hospital in late 60s. Or
maybe the entities of children who died here in the
hospital are still in residence!
BALIGARGH BUNAGLOW – NIGHT (8)
Elsa still in state of shock trembling and
holding Mike's arms tightly.
(Elsa)
"Mike ‘am still scared.”
“Lots of strange noises around.”
“I wish we go to the city
straight away, instead of
staying in this Ghost house."
(Rodney Mike)
"But we can't Elsa.”
“Try to understand.”
“It's not safe to keep
our foot outside now.”
“And you know why ?"
(Elsa)
"Mike I can't sleep.”
“Don't switch off the
lights please."
(Rodney Mike)
"Don't worry.”
“I'll be awake too and
let the lights be on.”
“No problem."
Kumar entered the room with dinner and Mike asked Kumar to
stay along with them in the room. They shut all doors and
windows and kept the lights on in all the places including
the verandas(Passage). It was around twelve they heard a
female crying and the voice of her cry became louder and
louder and at the same time they heard somebody knocking
the door.
(Elsa)
“Mike, It's the Ghost
trying to come in.”
“Don't open Mike.”
“Oh God, it's going
to finish us."
Elsa started crying.
(Kumar)
"Don't panic ma'am.”
“ ‘am with ya'll.”
“It must be the night
Security officer."
As they were talking Elsa saw a girl moving at the side of
the window in white dress and on seeing her through the
window glasses she started screaming. She ran towards Mike
held him tight in fear and started sobbing.
(Elsa)
"Look Mike there .!”
“I just saw a girl
walking past our
bed room window.”
“We are going to die.”
“They’re going to kill us."
Elsa was shaking terribly and Mike pacified her.
(Rodney Mike)
"Elsa don't panic
what ever it is.”

Kumar went towards the door and opened the door only to see
none was there and Kumar couldn't understand who was
knocking the door repeatedly while Elsa was screaming not
to open it. Fear gripped all of them. He shut the door
immediately.

"Sir, what shall
we do now ?"
Fear gripped him too and Mike was determined not to move
out of this place till morning.

"We must some how stay
here till morning.”
“By first flight we'll
go back to Chennai.”
“Till then we have no choice."
Mike held Elsa tight to reduce her fear and Kumar moved to
the windows to check if all the windows are shut properly
and he pulled the screens to avoid sighting of any ghosts.
Till 2 pm all were awake in spite of some grueling fear in
their heart and no one was aware when they slept. It was
just then. when Mike wanted to have a glass of water he
noticed Elsa moving away from him and went to the door way
and Mike went behind her to stop her but She ignored Mike
calling her, and Elsa opened the door and started walking
through the veranda and crossed the main gate.

"Kumar, Wake up.”
“Elsa is moving out
ignoring me.”
“Wake up Kumar, fast."
Since Kumar didn't respond. Mike pulled his bed cover fast
to wake him up only to find Kumar's headless body and Mike
screamed, where as Elsa kept moving. Mike's fear doubled.

"Elsa don't go.”
“Stop."
Mike was running behind her, yelling not to go but she
ignored Mike and Elsa kept moving and just then Mike
noticed she is following Emily, the Ghost which they
encountered in the afternoon, Mike stopped breathing in
fear.

"Go away you bastard.”
“Or else I chew you too,
as I did for your driver."
He tried to reach Elsa fast to stop but he was not a match
for her now as she is possessed by Emily and just then he
managed to reach the top, a strong blow landed on his face
and Mike became unconscious. When he woke up he saw Elsa
already reached the tip of the hill top as she is under
total control of Emily and Elsa followed her like her
child. Emily jumped from the hill top and Elsa too jumped
from there. Mike shouted but in vain. But he heard Elsa
saying...

"Mike I love you.”
“Don't cry

Mike fainted.
WELLINGTON HOSPITAL – OOTY (9)
When Mike gained conscious he was in the hospital bed
surrounded by few Cops and an Inspector waiting to probe
Mike. Mike was in tears again.

"My name is Rodney Mike.”
“Now tell me if
you have recovered
Elsa's body, Inspector ?"
(Inspector)
"You answer only,
and not ask questions.”
“Understand ?”
The Inspector’s voice was so harsh. As he asked his name
and nationality details another Police man started making
note of everything.

"Why did you

"Not Me.”
“It's the Ghost Emily.”
“Her class mate who
committed suicide here."
(Inspector)
"Are you telling
me stories ?

killed my car driver kumar.”

Everybody started laughing at Mike and Mike was wondering
why they were laughing.
(Inspector)
"Who’s head the Ghost
cut off you said ?"

The Inspector whispered something to another Cop and in few
minutes the Cop returned to the room with Kumar.
Mike was shocked to see Kumar again...He screamed...

"Nooooooooo.”
“It's not Kumar.”
“I saw him dead
last night.”
“Out of my room.”
“It's a devil
in disguise."
(Kumar)
"Sir, what happened to you.”
“When I wanted to wake
you up for sightseeing
you were unconscious.”
“With the help of hotel

know that your wife had
committed suicide we
reported the matter to police."
Mike was too confused, and he was in a state that he could
not understand which was true and which was wrong.
When he started narrating the incidents about the travel in
the train, the Ghost's presence in Ooty, about the man who
fell from top of train, then the Ghost Emily, how she
started chasing them, everybody burst into hearty laugh and
just then the Doctor entered.

"Nice Ghost
stories Mr. Mike.”
“Are you a writer ?'

"No, It's all true."
(Inspector)
Mr. Mike ,You're not

narration would suit

The Inspector left the room keeping two Cops as Guards for
Mike to be brought later to lodge him in Court custody. The
following days were real ordeal for Mike with the Cops and
Court and finally he was relieved off b'cause of Elsa's
parent's timely arrival who with the help of American
Embassy people, Mike left Ooty to Chennai with bits and
pieces of Elsa's body wrapped in Hospital packing along
with Elsa's parents and he was sobbing so hard in the
funeral that nobody could console him. After a week Mike
left with Jenny who had come all the way from USA to take
care of Mike and Mike left for his native place USA with
heavy heart.

intracluster population of the earth, drift in oceans,
lands and club on human beings. The ramifications are so

Remodeled Kitchen. He had totally exhausted all his savings
for this property unaware he would change his mind to sell
it off shortly b'cause of the nightmare he is going to face
in the following nights and days.
Mike's beach house are well furnished with legend king size
beds and air conditioning. All feature extravagant ensuite
bathrooms with Jacuzzi Spa bath, separate shower, twin
basin
marble vanity and private garden court. The floors are
covered with gleaming timber floors and hand woven rugs.
Mike had spent lot time to get his Beach house is
integrated with the romantic, slightly antique style of the
bedrooms, to make sure the rooms are cozy and restful in
appearance and he was cautious to avoid bright colors like
orange which won't induce you to sleep and instead he chose
Neutral, pastel and warm colors for his bedrooms. The
luxury cots in his bed rooms had king size cots a cushy 2"
mattress topper with body hugging baffle box construction
and two lofty standard pillows (twin has one pillow), with
hypo-allergenic polyester fiber fill Fiber bed which is
covered in a 233 thread count, 100% cotton shell. Pillows
are covered with 210 thread count, 100% cotton twill. And
everything is Machine wash fiber bed which he had Imported.
IN HIS BEDROOM – NIGHT (12)
Rodney Mike lies on his back in bed. He is a handsome
strong American young man in early thirties, anxiously
waiting for his newly wedded wife Jenny. He unzipped his
travel bag…Placed all things on the bed which was in the
bag. His clothes and few novels and wedding gifts.
He spread the gifts on the bed started unwrapping one by
one. And to his surprise he found a strange gift. Like a
wedding doll in Indian attire. He was surprised and tried
to locate the name and address on the rapper but found
nothing and to his best of his knowledge he didn't remember
any Indian friends attended the wedding. He had only an
Indian fiancée whom he married about a couple of years
before and she is dead and gone from his life once and for
all but now he had totally forgotten about her. He was
scratching his head to find out who had presented this
doll. Jenny was coming from the bath room…He hurriedly
pushed everything again in the bag and placed it on the
dressing table. Jenny hopped on to the bed and shoved her
naked body under the bed covers.

continuing in the same hard tone..

It's early morning. Mike was doing the workouts in his gym.
He was still wondering whether it was a dream or real bed
time encounter which took place last night with his late
wife's soul, Elsa. The voices of his late wife Elsa and her
giggling laughter kept coming in his mind. The conversation
still Green in his memory which interrupted his workouts.
Should I invite her again tonight ?
The innocent face Jenny flashed in his mind. He decided not
to invite her again and he was determined. He moved to
Jenny's bedroom.
Jenny is fast asleep. He moved closer to her to study her
and she was sleeping like a teddy bear on bed. He studied
her deep and he wanted to move his hands gently to brush
her cheek. He thought if he touches her she would get
startled and instead he moved his face closely towards her.

Jenny opened her eyes. In sleepy eyes she stared at him and
gave a warm smile to him. He kissed her lips. They stared
at each other deep. Jenny stretched both hands towards him,
inviting him to come closer and the moment he leaned
further she hugged him tight. Mike began kissing her
slowly, on the mouth, very tenderly. They kissed again
deeper. It was a deep and prolonged kiss and they kissed
again and again and he moved fully onto the bed, lying over
her and supporting his weight on his elbows started moving
in her deep and deeper with her b'cause he wanted to give
her the pleasure which she missed last night and he was
hungry for her b'cause she is in his heart now who brought
back cheers in his life again. Jenny was very wild which
induced Mike to go wilder too in bed and she had many
tricks in her store for Mike which made Mike to act as a
professional stud and it lasted for more than an hour now
and when they achieved what they wanted they took a moment
of pause and stared clear-eyed, acknowledging what they
were doing and what they wanted too. Mike kissed her again.

around the age of 15, when he and a friend locked

when they were discussing the plans to eliminate the Ghost,
a rough and horrible voice came from Mike's bedroom. Jenny
was in night gown but it was neither Elsa's voice nor
Jenny's. It's something unfamiliar to Mike and Mike was
totally shocked to hear this horrible voice.

When Emily tried to move out with anger and

The group spited in to four. Sara remained in the hall with
Michale and his brother Dale Clark moved to lawn with the
scanning equipments followed by a Ghost buster warrior
while Tom Moody moved to upstairs along with another Ghost
buster warrior while Susan was involved scanning swimming
pool area with another Ghost buster man. The entire team is
equipped with all latest Gadgets, sensors cameras and
totally armed with laser beams for detect and destroy
Ghosts.

involved scanning the lawn...

is hatched by Ghosts even here on the

Sara's computer displayed with some uneven images and funny
sounds from crying to screaming all the way.

He was sweating in fears.

"I think we could just
concentrate on one area at a
time to see what, if any,
concentration of activity
could be recorded."
As they were discussing the plans the chandeliers in center
of the high roof slipped and the entire set was rising down
towards Clark's head and Sara was quick to pull him back in
time and Mike was horrified by the incident. The grueling
voice of Emily echoed in air.

“Or else, ya'll be healthy food

When They started the long hard task of cleaning up mess
they were surprised at all they had found especially in the
basement all sorts of odds and ends and one was a claw foot
bathtub that they just couldn't get clean. They re-enameled
the bathtub four times to remove the black stain that was
in the bottom but it would just reappear until they put a
crucifix in it.

from the old property owner
which am yet to find a
suitable place to keep it and

When the entire team assembled back again lot of the team
members did was to take a pictures of the scanned areas of
this beach house. They got orbs right away. They all made
notes and headed for the back yard. There they gathered
them selves into a circle and said our St. Michael Prayer

encounter here. Just then they brought a young member Susan
a trainee Ghost buster on stretcher who was haunted by a
Ghost while investigating, as she was overwhelmed with the
negativity that she was picking up and Sara had to help her
outside to bring her back to her own personality. She felt
something was taking over her and not being used to such
exposure couldn't really handle the feelings she was
experiencing. Through Chips experience and with the help of
Dale Clark, on 106. medium, they were able to get the
situation under control again without anyone getting
injured.
THE GHOSTS ON RAMPAGE NOW (30)
The rooms down in the cellar still showed signs of the lewd
and ungodly acts that were carried out there. The kitchen
table and knife's floating all around there to chop the
heads off anybody moving in.
The Ghosts there were targeting cameras which took images
of several orbs from different angles in this room. This
gave off good readings but what was happening is beyond man
made equipment is the hostile act the Trifield meter was
constantly
going off while down in the basement. This is the most
sensitive of all meters and only registers paranormal
activity. The Ghost busting continued up into the attic
rooms where they received great readings with in the living
room, dining room work area and the bedroom to the left.
Several team members got a lot of orbs in their digitals
and 35 mm cameras during the readings.

from our earlier
encounters.”

ammunitions and probably
we may not even
move out of this place

Mike was too horrified and scared as he narrated all events

Emily was furious and tried to move out of the fire wall
and being unable to come out she yelled at them.

Emily groaned in Ghosty voice.
On seeing innumerous movements in Sara's computer Michael
Clark noticed many images approaching Mike's beach house.
He ordered his snipers to move out to eliminate them to
gain further time and snipers started shooting the Ghosts
coming towards Mike's home with laser beams but to their
surprise even when their skull blown to pieces they re
gather instantly and get fixed and their movement did not
stop. Jim the sniper head called Michele on radio.
(Jim – Sniper Head)
"Sir, they can't be stopped
they out number us and we run
out of ammunitions.”
“We can't last long."
(Michale Clark)
"Hold them for some more time
dam it.”
“Sara still on
negotiations with
the chief Ghost."

“Or else there'll be

"Yea I understand
just keep them at bay

The battle is still on and the snipers were in the verge of
loosing the fight and the Ghost in several hundreds almost
reached the front gate and are just few yards away and the
snipers were backing off gradually.
(Emily)
"Now you guys are
going to be chewed alive."
Though Mike was shivering the Ghost busting team was not
scared and as if nothing had happened Sara started the
negotiations further while Mike's mobile started ringing.
(Rodney Mike)
"Hollow who is it ?"
Unable to speak further but was able to quickly capture the
voice and he was surprised."
(Benoit)
" ’Am Benoit.”
“Are you OK Mike ?"
Mike was surprised by his call but narrated shortly what's
happening in his place and Mr. Benoit told him not to
aggravate the Ghosts and instead advised him to call Elsa
first and he explained shortly about the information’s
collected from the Nadi astrology center in India and he
further said it's God's will that she will live him for
short period and she will born as his daughter and live
with Mr. Benoit's family as grand daughter in future and
from the very moment Mr. Benoit told him that, Mike called
Elsa literally begging her.

From the very moment Mike invited Elsa, she replaced Emily
and she requested Emily to move away with her friends."

The moment Emily left everything became normal and there
was no sign of any pitched battle taken place and
everything became normal and there was no Ghosts around or
any trace of Ghosts present in and around Mike's place.

"Thanks Elsa.”
“Now tell us
what exactly your
demand is here ?"

" ‘Am not demanding.”
“It's my privilege to

After prolonged discussions among them Mike decided to be
with Elsa for ten months as her husband. Mike and Elsa
lived like true husband and wife and Elsa behaved normally
avoiding her paranormal sex act with Mike. It was in the
beginning of the tenth month Jenny developed maternity pain
and she was rushed to the hospital.
EXT - DAY – HOSPITAL (31)
Jenny was in Emergency ward. She gave birth to a beautiful,
charming female baby which had Elsa's features. And as pre
planned by Mike and his associates they replaced the new
born baby with a dead female baby which was born an hour
before With the help of the hospital authorities. Jenny was
sobbing and Mike consoled her.

"Jenny please, don't cry.”
“We still have age and
strength honey.”
“Please don't cry."
Mike cried along with her and after the third day Mike went
to Miami airport to receive Elsa's parents and he took the
baby along with him from his friend's house and while Mike
was about to hand over the baby to Mr. Benoit. The baby in
his hand spoke to Mike and it heard only to Mike."

"Mike...I'll be
back darling."
The baby smiled at Mike.

He nearly dropped the baby, but the baby didn't fall
instead floating in air as baby was held by Ghost Emily in
shadows.
(Emily)
"Don't panic Mike.”

Mike screamed his heart out at the airport and Mr. Benoit
took the child.

Mike screamed from the depth of his heart and Jenny got
shook up. She splashed water on Mike's face and Mike got up
blinking his eyes to know what happened to him while
whispering Elsa's name to himself.

“Bad dream ?"
