Ceremonial/ Special Occasion Speech Requirements Speeches will be presented . You will have a choice for which type of speech you would like to give. It can be a toast, eulogy, award presentation/acceptance, or commemoration. You may choose to work alone or with other classmates. Each presentation will be evaluated on an individual basis and will be graded on the same criteria. Each speech must be one to three minutes long and should be mostly memorized. You may use one note card if necessary, but it may not have your speech written out on it. These cards will be collected after your speech and should only have a few notes on them.
