Your Acid Rain Project has two parts:
1. You will research acid rain and write a five paragraph
research report in Miss Fletcher’s English class.
2. You will complete your science project that simulates the
effects of acid rain at home (science class).
Essay Requirements:
You will write a five paragraph essay in Miss Fletcher’s class
using three research sources, provided by Miss Fletcher. The
requirements are as follows:
Paragraph 1: Introduction (follows global statement, detail
sentence, thesis statement format)
Paragraph 2: Causes of acid rain
Paragraph 3: Effects of acid rain
Paragraph 4: How to prevent acid rain
Paragraph 5: Conclusion
You will also include a references page, giving credit to your
sources in proper MLA format. We will work on this part in class.
Your essay will be worth 75 points in your English grade.
