MAKE INFERENCES
A character who narrates a story provides a limited amount of information. A reader
can make inferences, or educated guesses, to figure out information that the narrator does not tell you. This skill is especially important when the narrator of a story
does not understand everything he or she sees or experiences.
Directions: On the chart, record details that the narrator provides about each place.
Then make inferences about the setting.
