Kent State Robert Noyce Scholarship Program Application for Admission for Fall 2013 Application Directions Use this Application for Admission to apply to the KSU Robert Noyce Scholarship Program if you are: o Academic performance in the major: overall GPA of 2.75 and 3.00 in the major; o A written essay showing an interest in teaching mathematics and/or science to middle or high school students; o Personal interview; o Two letters of recommendation, one of which must come from a science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) faculty who can comment on the student’s academic achievement; o Commitment to four years of teaching in a high needs middle or high school, for the three years of support as a Noyce scholar; o A U S citizen or permanent resident; o Ability to graduate within one academic year including the summer.
