Summer Reading List
Summer is a great time for reading a book! Read a book at the beach, at camp, in your backyard, under a tree at
the park, or in the car on a long trip. Set a goal for yourself this summer. Maybe, your goal is to read five (or
ten or fifteen) books by September. Talk about the book with friends and family. Maybe even read a book
together with your entire family! Here is a list of books that have been suggested by you, the student. Look
over the list carefully and begin reading right away. If you stumble upon a good title that is not on the list, be
sure to visit Mr. Starowicz’s classroom site (www.quia.com/pages/starowicz.html) or email directly Ms. Buzak
(tbuzak2@jd.cnyric.org) the title. They are always looking for good book suggestions. Have a great summer
