o Know how Killer Kane got out of jail, and what 2 specific things Grim and Gram did
to protect Max.
o Know what happened to Max after his father abducted him from Grim and Gram’s
house. Be sure to include the THREE different locations Max was taken to.
o Know the name of the author of the actual book, Freak the Mighty, as well as the
character that “wrote” the story of “Freak the Mighty”.
o Know what happened to Killer Kane after the cops and Freak saved Max. What
other two characters also helped Max? How did they help him specifically?
o Know the sequence of events from Kevin’s birthday to the end of the novel—
especially Max’s reaction at the hospital.
o Be able to give your EVALUATION (opinion) of the novel with specific reasons to
support your ideas.
