ACT, or any specific assignment. BE SURE TO WRITE A DETAILED
Account of your work.
Before class on Thursday: Read “Astronomer’s Wife” and “Shiloh.” Pp. 6276. After reading “Shiloh,” pretend you are Leroy and Norma’s marriage
counselor. Write an essay discussing the battlefields of their marriage.
Advise them. Should they stay together? Why or why not? Explain.
Quote specific information from the story in support of your analysis.
