1st Semester Notebook Check
NAME ________________________________
Period _______________________________
THESE DIRECTIONS SHOULD BE READ COMPETELY AND CAREFULLY!!
1. The following items should be in your notebook in
this order.
2. Make sure these items are clearly labeled (number each item appropriately in the
upper right corner with a marker). I will NOT guess as to what each item
represents.
3. These items must be complete and original. That mean it is your work, in your
writing. No photocopies of someone else's work will be counted.
4. All graphic organizers that were required to be printed and completed in / outside
of class must be included (notebook paper with graphic organizer
notes…because you didn’t print your G.O…. will not count).
5. Your notebook papers must turn easily. Over stuffed binders will not be graded. I
required a 2 – 3 inch binder at beginning of the year for this purpose.
6. You are required to have labeled dividers, as instructed at the beginning of the
school year (notebook paper, make shift dividers will not count).
7. This sheet should be the first page of your notebook. IF ANY OF OF THE
ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT FOLLOWED I will not grade your notebook.
Below is a grading rubric for this notebook.
