Bobby Oliver’s low budget production, “The Less-Than-Average Quest for the Holy
Grail” is a twist on the classic story of King Arthur’s quest for the Holy Grail. Auditions
will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 17 through Thursday, Jan. 19 in B16. Below is a list of
characters and sample texts to read during auditions.
King Arthur:
King of the Britons. Given a quest for the Holy Grail by God. (Males Only)
Sir Lancelot:
Arthur’s bravest knight. Lancelot is Arthur’s most trusted friend.**
Sir Galahad:
The purest knight. Galahad is the descendant of the original holder of the Holy Grail.**
Sir Gawain:
Arthur’s Nephew. (Males Only)
Sir Percival:
A Knight of the Round Table**
Sir Kay:
A Knight of the Round Table**
Merlin:
Great wizard and Arthur’s teacher.**
Agravaine:
Mordred’s kin**
Mordred:
Arthur’s evil half-brother (Males Only)

Keeper of the Holy Grail**
The Black Knight:
