The museum honors the Italian immigrants to America, tells their stories and recognizes the contributions
of Italian Americans. Your membership provides needed support and helps preserve the Italian American
heritage and culture.
The museum, which opened in August 2009, is provisionally chartered by the Regents of the University of
the State of New York. The museum is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) education corporation.
The museum is located at 1227 Central Avenue in the Town of Colonie, Albany County, New York.
Membership benefits include free general admission to the museum, member newsletter, and invitations
to member-only events.
