DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT: Come see if Dodgezilla will defend
their fall dodgeball title at the OCSA Dodgeball Tournament this
Friday, April 17 from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Newport Mesa Boys
and Girls Club.
FACULTY FOLLIES: Live from Santa Ana… It’s OCSA NIGHT
LIVE! The fourth installment of Faculty Follies is here! It is a rare
sighting; one that occurs about every four years. Come watch
OCSA staff take stage in a manner you may not have experienced before. They may sing, they may dance, they may leave
you laughing in your pants. Buy your ticket now via the OCSA
Box Office and join us in celebrating you and our unique OCSA
culture. With only 900 seats available, we expect three sold out
shows!
GRADUATION SPEECH CONTEST: Seniors! Have you dreamed
of being one of the speakers at your graduation ceremony?
There’s only one way to make that dream a reality. Submit a
speech for the Graduation Speech Contest. Speeches are due
this Wednesday, April 15. Detailed contest information is available in the Student Services rack. Speeches are to be emailed to
Mrs. Freeland at becca.freeland@ocsarts.net.
OCSA ARTS SCHOLARSHIP: Seniors pursuing musical theatre or acting after graduation should consider applying for the
Beckie Mendez Arts Education Scholarship of $2,000. You do not
have to be attending college for this scholarship! Applications are
available in Student Services and must be received by the donors by April 17.
IVC TRANSFER NIGHT: Find out how to be a successful transfer
student from the experts at IVC, the college with the number one
transfer rate in California! The Irvine Valley College High School
Student-Parent Transfer Night is tomorrow night, Tuesday, April
14. Their College Fair is from 5 to 6 p.m. and their presentation is
from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. For more information come to Student Services or call 949-451-5339.

PSO DINNER DELIVERY: Did you know PSO has a volunteer
service that delivers dinners from local restaurants? The service
is called Supper Club and they now have a new online payment
system at ocsarts.net/supperclub. Cash or check payments can
no longer be accepted. Weekly orders are due on Mondays by
2 p.m. Meals are distributed Monday through Thursday at 4:50
p.m. at the blue tables near the ceramics room. Join the Supper
Club email list and get reminders at supperclub@ocsarts.net.
CARDIOSTART SUMMER SCHOLARSHIP: Sophomores and juniors who love science! Check out the UCI CardioStart Summer
Program Scholarship information in Student Services or on the
bulletin board. Applications are due April 7.
UCI SUMMER SURGERY PROGRAM: UCI invites you to become
a summer surgeon! Come to Student Services for information on
this summer program that will allow you to gain experience in the
medical field. The minimum age is 16 and the GPA requirement is
a minimum of 3.5.

MASTER CLASS: The Pianist Program is proud to present Professor John Perry, world-renowned master teacher and pianist
from the Glenn Gould Conservatory in Toronto, Canada in a
Master Class this Thursday, April 16 from 2:15 to 4:50 p.m. in
the OCSA Event Center. Observing the class is free and open to
OCSA parents and staff.
