Limits of Combustion – Decimal Point Display Error
# 8 8
Overview:
Affecting Mk.7 MM units with software versions BC 7.32 MM7.56 DI 7.37 and earlier.
When viewing or editing limits of combustion in online changes, there is a decimal point
display error affecting some options.
Affected Options:
The following options are affected by this error:
Option 19 – Upper offset limit %O2
Option 20 – Upper offset limit %CO2
Option 22 – Lower offset limit %O2
Option 23 – Lower offset limit %CO2
Option 25 – Absolute value %O2
Option 26 – Absolute value %CO2
Details of Display Error:
When viewing these options in either “online changes” or “view options” There is a decimal
point missing from the display.
Eg. Option 19 – Upper offset limit %O2
This option is displayed as 0%-10%, but is in fact 0.0%-1.0%
Commissioning Mode:
In commissioning mode there is no decimal point error so these limits can be set correctly in
commissioning mode.
View Options / Parameters:
The maximum limit that will be seen in “view options” is 10% (therefore 1%). However, the
MM will work to the value set in commission mode, not the displayed value.
Online Changes:
Online changes has the same display problem as “view options”, but if viewed in online
changes will overwrite the value set in commission mode.
Eg. Option 19 set to 2% in commission mode.
If this is viewed in online changes, it will be overwritten as 1%
TB# 88 - Limits of Combustion – Decimal Point Display Error
Because of this display error, the limits of combustion may be tighter than expected.
Option 26 is worse affected if viewed in online changes as it will be set to 2% CO2 absolute
limit.
If limits of combustion are triggered too often, causing unnecessary lockouts, please contact
Autoflame Sale Department for help on this matter.
NOTE: CO limits of combustion are not affected by this display error.
Please contact Autoflame Sales Department for any further information or clarification on this matter. This document must be read in
conjunction with the Autoflame technical manual, and all changes must only be made by factory trained and certified technicians who have a
