Richard W.
Greninger, CPM, is Vice Chairman, Operations of Carr Properties where he oversees operations for a 31 ‐ building, 6,000,000 sf portfolio of office properties in the Greater DC area.
Mr.
Greninger has over 30 years of DC and national executive leadership experience predominately in the operation functions of property management, leasing, asset management, engineering, accounting and financial reporting.
He brings a wealth of knowledge in developing best ‐ of ‐ breed standards and programs for operating Class A office properties.
Mr.
Greninger joined the Carr Companies in 1991 as Vice President of Real Estate Management Services, and was promoted to Managing Director of Operations in 1999.
In this role, he was responsible for the oversight of property operations nationally in its 40 million square feet portfolio of urban and suburban office properties.
Prior to joining CarrAmerica, Mr.
Greninger served as Senior
Vice President and Eastern U.S.
Regional Manager for CB Commercial.
In 1994, Mr.
Greninger served as President of the Greater Washington Apartment and Office
Building Association (AOBA/BOMA).
He was also a 15 ‐ year tenured member of the Building
Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International National Advisory Council and served as its Chairman from 1999 ‐ 2001.
In July, 2011 Mr.
Greninger was elected to the position of Vice
Chair of BOMA International and ascended to the International Chairman role in July, 2013.
Mr.
Greninger graduated from Ohio State University in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Finance and Real Estate and holds a Masters of Business Administration in Marketing from the
University of Cincinnati.
From 2004 to 2006 he was a member of the faculty for the
Harvard/BOMA International Emerging Leaders in Real Estate Program.
