Spelling Homework Menu Options
Spelling homework will be assigned throughout the week. (You will have a total of 2 - 3
spelling homework assignments each week.) In addition to this, you will be expected to
study for your spelling and vocabulary tests daily. Thanks!
1.
Write spelling words in complete sentences.
2.
Write a funny story using all of your spelling words. Story must be at least 5
complete sentences.
3.
Write spelling words in ABC order.
4.
Create a word search with spelling words.
5.
Get a newspaper, and circle ALL of your spelling words.
6.
Cut your spelling words out of magazines and newspapers and make a collage.
7.
Using the dictionary write the meaning of each spelling word.
8.
Write newspaper headlines using your spelling words
9.
Write a creative story using all of your vocabulary words. Story must be at least
6 complete sentences.
10.
Create a crossword or word search using all of your spelling words.
11.
Write a poem using all of your spelling words. Draw a picture to go with your
poem.
12.
Write spelling words 3x each
13.
Rainbow Words – Write your spelling words with a crayon. Trace over each word
with another color. Now trace each word one more time with another color. DO
NOT use black or brown.
14.
Cut out a picture from a newspaper or a magazine and use spelling words to
write a story about the picture.
15.
Design a bookmark and write your list of words on the bookmark
16.
Write your spelling words in reverse ABC order
17.
Write your spelling words 2x each using one color for vowels and another color
for consonants.
18.
Write a letter to a friend using all of your spelling words.
19.
Write a song using all of your spelling words.
20.
Create a cartoon strip using at least 8 of your spelling words.
Do Not remove this from your BEE Book. You will need this for the rest of the year.
