Examples to begin: Consider these options: Foreign Language – Students create a narration in their target second language for a silent motion picture and share their narration orally with a partner who is not watching the film. The partner writes the narration and shares their version of the narration with the student creator. Students watch the film together and further develop the narration which is shared with the class and grading using a rubric. -OrSocial Studies – Pocahontas saves the day PowerPoint presentation with questions. -Or- I will think of some other possibilities… ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Preparation: 30 colored folders of five different colors – each folder has a number and letter on it. There are 6 folders of each color. There are 3 copies of 10 different lesson plans. One lesson is in each of the folders (or we can include extra copies of the lesson in each folder so that when participants change groups they can give a copy of the lesson they carefully read to others to look over). Rhonda will do this preparation and bring it to the Library early next week. Grouping #1 by number on folder – 3 copies of the same lesson plan for each group. – 15 min to group, read, and discuss lesson. Group #1 1A.
