In school, we have recently read a book titled Flat
Stanley by Jeff Brown. It is a fiction fantasy story
about a boy named Stanley who accidentally got
flattened by a bulletin board. He wanted to go on a
trip, so his family folded him up and mailed him to
California.
I am mailing my Flat Stanley to you. Please take
him somewhere exciting and write me back telling
me where he went. Don’t forget to send pictures,
postcards, or even brochures of your city along
with Flat Stanley. I will create a poster or a Power
Point presentation including all the interesting items
you will be sending me. You can email the photos to
me, but you will need to mail any brochures or
pamphlets from places he visits on his journey with
you. I have to take Flat Stanley back to school and
share his adventures with my class. My project is
due by December 11, 2015, so don’t prolong in
sending him back. I’m counting on you!
