Curriculum Expectations:

Outcomes and Assessment:
Students will be asked to write at least 2 sentences a day, on 3 days, describing Flat
Stanley’s adventures.
Students will draw a picture of each adventure. The picture will match the writing.
Students will use appropriate kindergarten writing conventions (spaces between words,
lower case letters, upper case letters at the beginning of the sentence, period at the
end of the sentence, correct spelling of high frequency words).
Students will show Flat Stanley on a variety of adventures in the community and/or
vacation destination.
Students will speak appropriately to their audience, ask and answer relevant questions.
Students will be graded on each part of their Flat Stanley Adventure.




