To identify and pursue opportunities for contracts, partnerships and grants from federal and provincial governments, donors, foundations and the corporate sector to generate greater impact and income for the British Council in Pakistan 2. To lead pursuit on commercial donor contracts across the British Council’s core strategic business areas (Arts, English, Education and Society) and to support programme teams pursue partnership opportunities from donors, foundations and the corporate sector 3. ACCOUNTABILITIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAIN DUTIES To support implementation of the business development strategy and To lead pursuit on commercial donor contracts, including securing and co-ordinating pursuit teams, drafting expressions of interest, identifying and negotiating with partners. To lead on identification of opportunities for commercial donor contracts across British Council business and to lead on tracking, positioning, ensuring compliance with all internal process. To provide consultancy support to programme teams to help them achieve targets for partnership income. Research, develop and maintain relationships with partners and to contribute to an effective contact management approach Lead on negotiation and contracting with consultants, delivery partners and donors ensuring compliance with legal, tax, financial control, and internal policies. To support handover to delivery teams, including support to project inception, and to undertake responsibility for project delivery for donor funded contracts as agreed at proposal stage.
