1) Action research based on NEET population in South
Lanarkshire
2) Transition survey; follow up and developments

1) Starter Paper on research proposals; plan methodology
and questions to be asked; contact Team Leader at
Careers Scotland to initiate collaboration on this project;
construct a timeline for project.
2) Workshops planned in two learning Communities to
discuss the Transition Survey and the way forward;
continued input to SLC Partnership Group [ Future
Planning Partnership ] to develop transition procedures;
continued input to ‘My View Too’ group conducting
action research on young persons’ views of the transition
process.
3) Poster display devised for CPD and future PR purposes
4) Postal survey of Training Providers’ training needs to be
carried out during this academic year
5) Consultation sessions at South Lanarkshire College
continuing on similar basis to previous arrangements.
6) Further development of the Inclusion Profile in FE to
consider students’ views and the construction of a
Transition Toolkit in HGIOS format.

Careers Scotland team leader, Time line completed

the two groups in continuing
