INSTITUTE OF COGNITVE NEUROSCIENCE Alexandra House Queens Square Occasional Research Assistant Help Job Description Main purpose The post-holder will support research within the UCL Visual Communication Research Group. In addition to informing our basic understanding of brain development and the neurobiology of language, aspects of our research will also ultimately inform intervention strategies for children born profoundly deaf both in terms of education and cochlear implant programmes. The post-holder will work mainly on an ongoing ‘Speechreading Training and Reading (STaR)’ intervention study.
