Notes to Students:
1. Ensure that you meet regular or mature status admission requirements.
2. Consult with the advisor in planning course selection and for specific
educational goals, such as Early Child Care Education III certification.
3. There is a 42 credit-hour limit on 1000-level courses.
4. Check the 1000-level prerequisites for 2000- and 3000-level courses.
5. SOC-1101/6 Introduction to Sociology is waived as a prerequisite for SOC2115/6 and SOC-2103/6.
6. PSYC-1000/6 and PSYC-2200/3 are waived for students holding an
ECE II Diploma from Red River College or Université de Saint-Boniface.
7. An ECE II Diploma from RRC or USB constitutes 30 1000-level credit hours
of advanced standing. A 3-year BA with a DEV major, Stream A, requires
60 additional credit hours, as outlined in this document.
8. The compulsory courses for a 3-year BA with a DEV major will constitute
30 or 33 of the required 90 credit hours, depending on the course selected
from Group 3.
9. Consider electives KIN-2101/3, KIN-2206/3, PSYC-3720/3, or
THFM-3502/6 if you are planning to work in applied settings.
