Notes
1. Mission: Formulate a used fluorescent light tubes recycle
procedure.
2. Scope: Landfill area and leachate treatment plant.
3. Responsibilities:
3.1 Maintenance Unit: Storage and collection.
3.2 Administration: Recycle management of iron / aluminum
cans, plastic bottles, used batteries and papers.
4. Definitions: None.
5. Procedure:
5.1.1 The Maintenance Unit is to collect and store all used
fluorescent light tubes from offices and operating sites.
Abandoning of used light tubes is strongly prohibited.
5.1.2 The Maintenance Unit is to contact recycle companies for
collection.
5.2 Recycle papers used one side only. Use recycled papers
for photocopying.
5.3 Place recycling bins (metal, paper, plastic) in office and
notify the local township for collection.
5.4 Place battery recycling bins in office and transport to
recycle facilities by Maintenance Unit.
