Various outcomes in
Standards 1-10 were assessed
and are as follows (refer to
Assessment Plan)
Standard 1: Content
Knowledge (Outcomes 1.1,
1.2, 1.3)
These results reflect student grades in the following
courses EDW 775, EDW 774, EDW 748, EDW
740 & EDW 739
Outcome 1.1, 1.2 & 1.3 were
measured by examining
students’ projects and lesson
plans in EDW 740 & EDW
748. These included a
presentation and culmination of
research on the impact of
technology in their fields and
In total, six students completed the M.Ed. and one
student an M.S. Three out of four students pursuing
the M.Ed. successfully completed a paper/project
(EDW 774). One student did not complete the
paper successfully and has delayed graduation.
Three other students successfully passed a
comprehensive exam and completed the M.Ed.

lesson plans during the student
teaching experience. .
All seven students enrolled in student teaching
(EDW 748) completed it successfully. All receiving
“As.”

Results, conclusions, and discoveries
The data show that students are meeting the planned objectives and completing their
programs successfully.
4. Use of Results. What program changes are indicated? How will they be implemented? If
none, describe why changes were not needed.
Because of the broad nature of the field and the expansion of the program, faculty
continue to work and streamline the curriculum in the program. Standards have been
aligned across all strands and new assessment plans are being designed.
5. Dissemination of results, conclusions, and discoveries. How and with whom were the results
shared?
Results are reviewed and shared by program faculty and a copy is sent to the Chair of the
department.
