meet the complex reporting needs of the
University
Additional Banner data in the data warehouse
Improved reporting tool with new features
and functions
More robust, improved reporting including
dashboards
Reporting from BRM (Banner Relationship
Management)

ODS = Operational Data Store
 Used for Operational reporting
 Ad-hoc reporting
 More flattened data than Banner


EDW = Enterprise Data Warehouse
 More Aggregated data
 Snapshots of data
 Used for Analytics and Trend reporting

EDW
RAP = Recruitment & Admissions
Performance
 SRP = Student Retention Performance
 Integrate with BRM
 Pre-developed reports from Ellucian that
utilize EDW

RAP & SRP
When?
Identify reports used in the existing data
warehouse
 Identify / inventory your department’s
reports
 Work with us, as needed, to identify
report requirements for existing reports

