Summary of the broad purpose of the position, and its responsibilities/duties. The Registered Nurse and or Midwife provides nursing and/or midwifery services in an acute service setting. The Registered Nurse and or Midwife consolidate knowledge and skills and develop in capability through continuous professional development and experience. The Registered Nurse and or Midwife accepts accountability for own standards of nursing/midwifery care and for activities delegated to others. 2.
