Uploading Your Syllabus to Your Course Site When your syllabus is completed please email it to websupport@hartem.edu and academics@hartsem.edu. Then you will need to upload it to the SONISWEB system. When you have logged into the system via the Faculty Access button on the Seminary’s home page you will be on your Main Biographic Page. There are two options for uploading your syllabus. If the syllabus is in a PDF format you can upload it by adding it to your course through the Courses tab. You do this by going to your course roster. When you click on the Courses tab, your roster for the current semester should pop up. If you wish to add a syllabus to a future semester you can change the year and/or semester by using the drop down menus and clicking the Change Year/Semester button. Once you have accessed your course, click on the Syllabus icon at the top of your page. Click on the Browse button to locate your syllabus file. Once you have located it highlight it and click Open. Then you are ready to upload the syllabus by clicking the Upload Syllabus button. The syllabus will not be accessible to the students through the course site. If you need to remove or change your syllabus after you have uploaded it. Go into the course using the Courses tab. Click on the Syllabus icon. Then either remove the syllabus or if you are replacing it with another version then browse to the new version, open it and then hit the Upload Syllabus button. If you don’t have a PDF version of the syllabus you can add the syllabus to your course site by using the Upload File process outlined in Tutorial 4.
