Objective of the course:
To teach students to have special criminalistics theoretical knowledge and practical
skills, which allows to better understand criminal cases and others violations of law investigation
process through studying and having practical work, related with solving criminal and others cases
and violations of law. The students will find out how to use criminalistics methods and means for
investigation process and for solving crimes. Student will have an opportunity to visit Lithuanian
Forensic Science Centre, to acquaint with practical work of investigators and forensic scientists.
Basics of criminalistics methods and means for crime and other violations of law
investigation: an introduction to forensic science, criminalistics photography, trasology,
criminalistics crime scene examination, ballistics, handwriting identification, document
investigation, criminalistics voice identification, odorology, criminalistics registration.
