What is the Sothys Homme?
A man’s skin is 25% thicker than a woman’s, contains a higher content of collagen and elastin proteins and is more acidic
with a pH 4.5-5. The skin is more resistant, firmer and more elastic and subsequently the signs of aging appear later on
men’s skin. Typically men have fewer fine lines but when the wrinkles appear they develop rapidly and are deep.
A man’s skin tends to be oilier due to the male hormone testosterone and is more prone to acne, blackheads and dilated
pores, but the hydrolipidic film which is rich with sebum protects the skin better than a women’s.
Daily shaving can be very aggravating for the skin. It destroys the hydrolipidic film that reduces the natural protection of the

Volcanic Rock, the key active of Sothys Homme is obtained from Olivine (or Peridot) mineral (liquid extract from a rock)
after a volcanic eruption this is the first component to crystallize it is a major mineral which is part of the earth’s mantle.

Paraben Free / Organic / Natural
Paraben Free Actives: there is no use of the preservative called methylparaben and any active ending with the word
paraben. Preservatives are needed keep products stable and so there is no bacterial or fungal growth in it. The preservative
used in the Sothys Line is methylchloroisothiazolinone/ methylisothiazolinone (MCI/MI) the shelf life is 9 months.
Organic Actives: Definition: “Noting or pertaining to a class of chemical compounds that formerly comprised only those
existing in or derived from plants or animals, but that now includes all other compounds of carbon.” The FDA has rules on
food that is organic but no rules on cosmetics. As far as food it means that crop has been grown with no synthetic pesticides

Deep cleanses, removes dead cells and roughness and restores incomparable suppleness to the skin.
Detoxifying and energizing mask when left on the skin

Rhyolite– mechanical exfoliation  renew, smooth and improve microcirculation (Mediterranean sea)
Perform a mechanical exfoliation and leave on as a mask for 5-10mn. Perform a scalp massage in the meantime with
the Vitality Capillary Lotion (see below). Remove with a hot towel. Use Desquacreme under steam if necessary.
