Project Description
-Archeologists use artifacts and fossils to gain a better understanding of prehistoric man. Imagine an
archeologist in the year 3013 is trying to gain a better understanding of you after discovering the remains of
your home site. What objects might he/she find that might give them insight into your daily life? For this
assignment, you will bring in 3 items that an archeologist might find that would describe your daily
existence. Be prepared to present these objects to the class and describe their significance. Also, be
prepared to include a written description of these same objects.
Presentation
-On 8/21, students will present these objects to the class and explain their significance.
Written Assignment
-Students will provide a brief written description of the items and turn this in on the day of their
presentation.

-Written assignment – 75%
