Price College of Business MBA/IFP Collaboration Program Overview: Up to three students enrolled in the University of Oklahoma full-time MBA program and pursuing an Energy specialization would be selected to attend the Institute of French Petroleum (IFP), Paris. The students will immerse themselves in primarily energy-specific courses to further augment their expertise about that industry. Up to 16 credit-hours will be transferred back to the OU MBA, although students will take 20 hours at IFP in lieu of courses at OU (see worksheet below). Under certain circumstances, the students may be eligible for a degree from IFP (Masters in Petroleum Economics & Management) after getting an MBA from OU. Dates: Departure: January 1st; Return: July 15th (approximately). Instructions: All instructions at IFP are in English. Fees: Students will pay all fees and tuition toward the courses they will not be taking at OU (including internships). They do not have to pay for the courses at IFP. Housing and Food: Stay at the IFP Residence (single-occupancy, (includes electricity and internet). Students have access to IFP restaurant for lunch time. Selection: Students will be selected based on their academic standing, professionalism, their ability to be an ambassador for OU and Price College and (if needed) interview. Deadline: Students wanting to attend IFP must let the Executive Director about their decision by October 1st of the first module in the full-time MBA Program.
