A volunteer run nonprofit, End 68 Hours of Hunger’s mission is to provide food for local needy
children who may otherwise go without over the 68 hours between the end of school on Friday
and the beginning of school on Monday. School age children have access to free and reduced
meals during the school week but those same children may not be getting adequate and
nutritious meals over the weekend. “Trade Up to End Hunger” is being put on by TradePort
with support from Universal Recycling Technologies (URT), Chinburg Properties and the City
of Somersworth.
