ARE ONCE AGAIN TEAMING UP TO SPONSOR
AN ESSAY CONTEST FOR THE CHILDREN IN THE ELEMENTARY
SCHOOLS IN THE GREATER WESTERLY, RI. AREA
We want the children to tell us how they would make
a better world for animals and to share their
wonderful stories in a 100 word essay.
To be eligible, essays must be dropped off at the
Stand Up for Animals office ~ 19 Railroad Avenue, Westerly, RI
by 4:00 p.m. on Friday May 25, 2007

Robert Utter, owner of Other Tiger Book Store
will have a selection of animal-related books
on display and for purchase during the month of May.
Other Tiger Book Store will again provide prizes to the top essay
winners in each category. Judging will be conducted by the
Stand Up For Animals Essay Contest Committee.
Winners will be announced by June 8 and the children and their parents
will receive an invitation to a special reception.
Be Kind To Animals Week represents a wonderful tradition of
celebrating our animal friends!
