Biome, Ecosystem, Habitat
(Marine Cadence)
By: Patsi Wagner adapted for Everett Public Schools by Sanjeev Pahal and K. Gooding
We just know what we've been told,
A biome's worth its weight in gold.
Biomes have defined climates
Biomes have plants and animals
Grassland, prairie, forest, and ocean,
Desert, tundra, taiga, and mountain.
Sound-off, biome
Sound-off, defined climate
Sound-off, 1-2-3-4 plants and animals!
Within a biome are ecosystems,
Where living and non-living things interact.
Each organism has a role to play.
They must be interdependent everyday!
Sound-off, ecosystem
Sound-off, interact
Sound-off, 1-2-3-4 Interdependence!
Within each ecosystem are habitats,
A place where interdependent organisms live.
The habitat supplies food and water,
Temperature, oxygen, and minerals.

Sound-off, 1-2-3-4 Survival!
