grades who are ready to multiple/divide-we must
know what level they are on and how to move
them.
Mental Math Activity: 48 + 25
1. Ask them to solve individually
2. Now, share your strategy in pairs.
3. As they are solving, walk around to find two
different strategies and give these participants a
transparency to write strategy on to share
4. Pick two participants to share strategies
