Inspiring Women are delighted to invite you and a group of your students to join us at our special flagship Inspiring Women in Music speed networking event with Miriam Gonzalez, Champion of the Inspiring Women Campaign on Wednesday, 9 September from 10am to 12noon in one of the most beautiful and historical settings in London, The Royal Albert Hall. We are hosting this event to broaden young women’s minds to the range of jobs that are available within a sector that shows a worrying gender imbalance. This is highlighted through findings such as Creative & Cultural Skills report, which highlights that the gender divide across all music industry related jobs is 67.8% male to 32.2% female. In an attempt to tackle this issue we will welcome an exciting mix of inspirational women, from musicians and composers to engineers and producers. If you are interested in registering to attend or finding out more about this exciting event, please contact Sophie Greaves: sophie.greaves@educationandemployers.org or 020 7566 4886. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis and we do expect to receive a lot of interest!
