______ COMMUNICATE WITH CURRENT SHIFT ANY PROBLEMS, EVENTS
AND SITUATIONS. AND CHECK THE LOG.
_____ COUNT THE DRAWER AND LOG INTO COMPUTER
_____ VIEW TOTALS. Compare the physical totals to the reservations totals to be sure
there are no discrepancy.

PRINT DOWN TIME REPORTS.
YOU CAN TOSS OLD ONES.
____ CHOOSE A RESTAURANT AND PUT THE LIST ON THE COUNTER
____ WAKE UP CALLS. Put wake up call sheet by phone so you can log EVERY
request.
_____ CHECK ALL PRINTERS. Fill paper and check the toner on all printers including
Fax and copier.

PRINT A GUEST REQUEST AND A HILTON HONORS ARRIVAL REPORTCHECK TODAYS ARRIVALS FOR ACCURACY ON REQUEST.
_____ COMMUNICATE WITH HOUSEKEEPING ANY STATUS CHANGES.
4 PM
_____ DO CALL AROUND Make notes of you is sold out and why. What is going on
At each hotel. Do they have groups?
_____ PRINT A CREDIT CARD STATUS REPORT
CHECK FOR ANY DECLINED CARDS, OBTAIN AUTHORIZATION.
OR GET ANOTHER FORM OF PAYMENT FROM THE GUEST.
_____ COOKIES BY 4:30PM. If we have more then 25 arrivals please as housekeeping
to make cookies.
_____ Print Response Investigators in Salt Calls and call them.
Note who you called and when in the salt report spreadsheet.
_____ CHECK THE CALL BACK LOG. Do SECOND call any guest who checked in
after 9 pm last night and did not check out today.
5 -7 PM
_____ PRINT A HIGH BALANCE REPORT FOR ALL PAYMENT METHODS.
CALL GUESTS THAT HAVE GONE OVER THEIR LIMIT TO RECEIVE ANOTHER PAYMENT.
_____ AUTO CANCEL ANY 4PM/6PM RESERVATIONS. DO PRE-ARRIVAL
AUTH. BY 6PM WHEN WE ARE 85% OR HIGHER.
_____ SALES PROSPECTING Google phone numbers of local business and
competitor hotels. You are looking for events, changes, contacts of new and old
companies, hotels rate offers and groups. Get info to GM.
_____ MAKE FRESH COFFEE. Regular and De-cafe. Stock the sugar, creamers and
cups. Note it on the pre-shift summary as to what time.
9 PM
_____ Remember to do you call backs with in an hour of guest c/in. (UNTIL 9PM)
BE SURE TO OFFER WAKE UP CALLS /RECORD LATE CHECK OUT REQUEST!
_____ GUEST MAIL.
CHECK ALL ITEMS AND MAKE SURE THAT GUEST HAS BEEN NOTIFIED. LEAVE A
NOTE ON THE ITEM. Also put a note in the log book for desk staff.
_____ DO A BUCKET CHECK AND RE-BOOT THE COMPUTERS.
CHECK C/C #, RM # NAMES RATES AND COMPANY NAMES
_____ CLOSE UP POOL AT 10 PM
10 PM
_____ DO DEPOSITS AND BALANCE ALL ACCOUNTS.
Fallow the deposit and cash count procedures that can be found in the front desk help book
Make sure you have a witness to your drop!

Stock magazines, put TV on news channel and mute,
