Arrival and Dismissal Safety Procedures
Dear Parent/Guardian
With help from the Aberdeen Police Department, we have created a plan to make our parking lot
efficient and safe for the arrival and dismissal of our students.
Please adhere to the following:
Arrival:







Please do not drop off students before 9:05 am
Students must be dropped off along the curbside
Please pull your car up as far as you can go along the YELLOW part of the curbside before
letting your child out of the car to keep traffic moving smoothly
Students must exit on the right hand side of the car for safety
Drivers should remain in their car during drop off
Students are not permitted to walk through the parking lot unattended
There is no parking in the fire zone at any time.
Dismissal:




Students are not permitted to walk through the parking lot unattended
Please park in legal parking spaces only
Please do not double park in front of parking spaces
There is no parking in the fire zone at any time
It is recommended to use our school buses for the pick up and drop off of students. They are
safe, efficient, and will have your child to school on time every day!
There is an alternative parking lot down Maxwell Street and just a short walk from Cliffwood.
